Cleaning Service FAQ

Do we remove the body?

No. We come in after the body has been removed and remove the biohazard that was left behind.

Do we collect evidence for the police?

At Hoosier Trauma 365 LLC, we prioritize in safety and ethical practices. Although we are not forensic technicians, we take any potential evidence seriously and will immediately contact the authorities before proceeding with any operations. Our commitment to safety and integrity is unwavering.

Do we remodel the affected area?

No. We are biohazard cleaners and not a construction company. We do remove any items that contain biohazard and sometimes that may include sub flooring, drywall and wall studs. Depending on what the subfloor is made of we may replace it or seal it. We leave the area clean and free of any bloodborne pathogens ready for the remodel companies to come in and repair the area.

Who is responsible for payment?

Homeowners insurance may cover the costs associated with certain situations, depending on the specifics of the accident and its location. While we strive to collaborate with insurance companies, we cannot guarantee that they will cover the expenses. We recommend reviewing your policy for clarity. Please note that hoarding jobs are billed directly to the client. Financing options are available to qualified applicants.

Hoarding FAQ

What type of hoarding jobs do you clean?

No job is to small or big for our company. We cover all types of hoarding. From trash to animal hoarding.

Do you work with or against the client?

We work with the client during the assessment process. We do not mind if the client wants to help in the process as it helps in the healing process as long as it does not hinder progress. If we are being stopped to many times then we will take that time to re-evaluate the situation and determine the best course of action.

Are you a shovel & go company?

What separates us from other companies is our compassion and understanding. We typically try to sort through things so we do not toss anything that can be saved and donated or sentimental items and or financial documents  that the family may need or want. Valuable items can found in hoarding situations that no one even knows about, including the homeowner themselves as they tend to forget where items are placed over the years.

What is the average cost of a hoarding or clutter clean up?

Cleaning services pricing can vary significantly based on several factors, including the complexity of the job, the number of technicians required, and the estimated time for completion. Each client has unique needs, which means we often need to ask specific questions and assess the job photos or an in-person visit. Generally, prices can range from $500 to $20,000, with most projects falling between $2,000 and $6,000. Financing is available for those who quilify. Just click the link below for Acorn financing.
